Solix Solarbank 2 E1600 Plus

The Anker Solix Solarbank 2 E1600 Plus is the entry-level version of the Solarbank 2 family. It packs 1.6 kWh of LiFePO4 battery, an 800 W inverter, and dual MPPT accepting up to 1200 W of solar panels. It's a plug & play solution: connect your panels, plug it in, and you're set.

The system is expandable to 9.6 kWh by adding BP1600 batteries. With 6000 cycles to 70% capacity, durability is excellent. The smart meter (included or sold separately) enables dynamic injection that adapts to your actual consumption.

IP65 ensures risk-free outdoor installation, whether on the ground, a wall, or next to your balcony panels. At 21.2 kg, it's a bit heavy but manageable for a fixed setup. The Anker app is well-designed and provides clear monitoring of production, storage, and consumption.

Compared to the Pro version, the Plus is limited to 1200 W solar input (vs 2400 W) and has no off-grid backup outlet. That's enough for a typical balcony kit (2 panels), but if you have 4 or more panels, the Pro version will be a better fit.
