The Sunology City is not a storage system per se: it's a 300 W plug & play solar panel kit designed for urban balconies. We include it here because it's often the first step before investing in a system with battery storage.
The kit includes two 150 W panels, ultra-light (4 kg each), mounted on a 20 mm thick metal frame. The 300 W micro-inverter (IP67) is built in, and installation takes less than 5 minutes: just mount the panels on your railing and plug in.
With 20.4% photovoltaic efficiency and a 25-year performance warranty, the City is a solid starting investment. It's designed and assembled in France, which matters to those who value local production.
The big caveat: without a battery, all energy produced must be consumed instantly. Whatever you produce and don't use goes back to the grid for free. For real self-consumption with storage, look at the Sunology STOREY (modular battery) or PLAY Max (panel + integrated battery). Still, the City remains an excellent entry point into solar, with payback in 4 to 6 years.
