Jackery
The most compact 1 kWh LiFePO4 station on the market. 10.8 kg, 1500W output, emergency charge in 1 hour. Three 230V outlets, 100W USB-C and full app. The ultimate all-rounder.
The Explorer 1000 v2 is probably the easiest station to recommend in the entire Jackery range. 1070 Wh in a package 18% smaller than the old Explorer 1000, 10.8 kg you can grab with one hand (a strong one, admittedly), and 1500W continuous output -- 50% more than the previous generation.
The emergency super-charge mode is impressive: activate it via the app and the station goes from 0 to 100% in barely an hour. In normal mode, charging takes 1h40, which is kinder to the battery long-term. Nice to have the flexibility depending on whether you're in a rush.
Port-wise, three 230V Schuko outlets, one 100W USB-C (enough for a MacBook Pro), one 30W USB-C, and one 18W USB-A. The 12V car port rounds things off. With the Jackery app (WiFi + Bluetooth), you monitor everything in real time and adjust charging settings.
The main regret: no UPS function. For a station at this price, it's hard to understand the omission, especially when the 2000 v2 includes it. If uninterruptible power is your priority, you'll need to look elsewhere in the range.
In practice, the 1000 v2 runs a small video projector through an entire film, recharges an electric scooter, or powers a CPAP machine all night. For camping weekends, craft markets, or domestic power cuts, it's an excellent size-power-price compromise.
