Zendure
Our favourite from Zendure: same power as Pro 2000 (2000W / AmpUp 3000W) but in LiFePO4 with 3000 cycles. 1440 Wh, 18.8 kg on wheels, fast mains charging. Less raw capacity, but a battery that will last for years. The smart pick.
The SuperBase Pro 1500 is the sensible sibling of the Pro 2000. Less raw capacity – 1440 Wh versus 2096 – but the same output power (2000W continuous, AmpUp 3000W, 4000W surge) and crucially, a LiFePO4 battery that changes the entire long-term equation.
With 3000 cycles at 80% capacity (and 6000 at 60%), you go from a station you replace after 4-5 years to one that can last over 8 years in daily use. For solar storage, that's a decisive criterion. The Pro 2000's NMC cells simply can't compete on longevity.
Connectivity mirrors the Pro 2000: 4 EU AC outlets (220-240V), 4 USB-C ports with 2 at 100W, 3 DC5521 ports, one car output. No USB-A – Zendure went all USB-C on the Pro line. In 2024, that's defensible, but it may annoy those still relying on USB-A cables.
Like its bigger sibling, it rolls on built-in wheels with a telescopic handle. At 18.8 kg, that's 2.4 kg lighter than the Pro 2000, which you notice when loading it into a car boot.
The 1800W solar input (via high-voltage XT60, 60-160V) matches the Pro 2000. The 6.1-inch screen, Wi-Fi, 4G and GPS are all present. Zendure hasn't cut any features.
The only real trade-off is capacity. 1440 Wh is enough for a backup night (fridge + lights + internet), but if you need power-hungry appliances running all day, the Pro 2000's 2096 Wh will make the difference. For everything else – and especially for regular use over several years – the Pro 1500 is the smartest pick in the Zendure range.
